People hate on Mondays, but let’s be honest: Tuesday is the toughest day of the week. Think about it: On Monday, once you’ve had your coffee, you’re ready to tackle (or at least plan) your week. Wednesday’s hump day. And then Thursday and Friday are practically the weekend.
So, let’s combat Tuesday Bluesday (that’s a catchy future post title) with some things I’m loving:
Twice: Twice is so great. It’s basically an online version of Plato’s Closet. You can send your gently used brand name items (they’ll even pay for the shipping), they’ll make you offer, and you accept or decline. Easy money! Today, I’m loving on their actual shop — I just received two pairs of Ann Taylor pants (one NWT), a pair of Banana Republic pants, and a brand new J. Crew skirt for $50. TOTAL. Samples galore: Over the last two weeks, I’ve received free Dessange shampoo, conditioner, and at-home toner treatment to test from Influenster as well as two free protein powder samples from Quest. If it’s free, it’s for me! And luckily, you can reap the benefits, too! I’ll be posting my Dessange review later this week, but you can enjoy my new favorite protein treat now.
My new favorite protein treat: Meet: The Beltsander Brownie. Originated here, and shared with you today — it is so tasty with Chocolate Milkshake Quest Protein Powder! I love it because it’s gooey and chocolatey, but still fits into my 24 Day Challenge (I’m on Day 6!).
- In a microwave safe bowl, mix: 1 scoop protein powder (I went with Quest Chocolate Milkshake), 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa. Add 1/4 cup milk of choice (my pick is unsweetened almond) to dry ingredients.
- Microwave for 30 seconds.
- Top with deliciousness. I love chocolate chips and PB2!
