So, I missed TILT last week because I had to post my Open Letter to Yankees Fans (which probably would have been way appropriate this week because we’re playing the Yanks, but I digress). Other than baseball season (finally!), here are some of my favorite things this week:
Tunesday. This week’s mix starts with Shut Up and Dance, per request. Funny story: Shut Up and Dance was almost on the last mix, but for whatever reason didn’t make the cut. So you get to enjoy it this week! Check out this week’s mix here.
Make it Happen. Fun fact: I am obsessed with personal development books. You can view (and buy!) some of my favorites here. Because I do data entry primarily at work, I often listen to inspiring audiobooks to continue to develop myself. This week, I am totally loving Lara Casey’s Make it Happen, which promotes living on purpose. The quote above is one of my favorite takeaways so far, but I’m looking forward to writing a full review once I finish.
Power Sheets. Lara Casey also offers a six month goal planning guide known as Power Sheets. I finally got mine in the mail on Saturday, and I started the prep work last night! I’m looking forward to sharing my progress with you, primarily via Instagram. My favorite question so far: “What is your dream life in one sentence?” My answer: “Loved, inspired, challenged and fulfilled, every dang day.”
Sleep Works. Ya’ll. I am a miserable insomniac. Or, I was, until I finally ordered Sleep Works, which is an AdvoCare product. I have tried everything short of Ambien: melatonin, over the counter sleep aids, white noise, you name it. I take half a bottle of Sleep Works, and I am OUT 20 minutes later, sleep through the night, and wake up feeling awesome. You can buy it here.
