Things I Love Tuesday

I hope everyone had a relaxing Memorial Day, and spent at least part of it remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We had a very lazy weekend recalibrating after all of the life stuff that’s been happening. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Alas, it’s Tuesday, which means you’re getting a fresh look at some of my favorite things:

Tunesday. A TILT post wouldn’t be complete without a new Tunesday. This one’s a little all over the place, but that means there’s something for everyone! From a sweet mastermix version of Jackson 5’s ABC to classics like The Joker and even a little Disney thrown in, you’re sure to enjoy this guy. Find it (and all past Tunesday playlists) here.

All-Star Slim Down. Kasey and I realized that we might have gotten a little too excited about our All-Star Slim Down challenge, so we’re pushing the start date back a week. This means that you’ve got a whole week to learn more, ask questions, chat with us on the phone/via email, and order your challenge. It is going to be THE MOST fun, and we’ve got prizes! Plus, you’ll be well on your way to looking and feeling like an All-Star just in time for the Fourth of July. Ready to join? Here’s our updated dates:

Embodied Adventure. Once upon a time, I was a consultant for my sorority. I got to live out of a suitcase for a year, and visited 25 different colleges meeting and being inspired by some of the most amazing women in the world. One of those women was Steph Winsor, who was the chapter president at our chapter at the University of Denver. She is inspirational, and her personality and zest for life is contagious. She’s now the founder of Embodied Adventure, which “provides retreats, workshops and experiences that cause growth and happiness around the globe.” They have a WAY COOL yoga retreat coming up in NICARAGUA that I would kill to be able to go on. But since I can’t, I figured I’d share so that maybe, I’ll be able to live vicariously through you. Even if you can’t go on this one, be sure to like them on Facebook for daily inspiration that will make your heart smile.

Swoob. Recently, I wrote about Swoob’s pocket sports bras. Many of you were interested (as seen by the clicks!), and recently, Kyle, the CEO of Swoob, reached out to me to offer 20% off for all of my readers using the code GOGIRLGO. Based on the suggestion from Kyle, I’ve ordered the Idona bra as it’s great for high impact activities, like running. My friend Allison recently ordered this one and loves it! Like I said before, pockets are perfect for stashing your phone, an ID, or (hello) snacks. So go on, treat yo’self.
